Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot Program (RNIPP)
This program is quite similar to the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP). The significant difference is that while AIPP helps employers in the Atlantic province hire workers, the RNIPP is community-driven. It provides the avenue to draw human capital to the participating communities, as it easier for people to immigrate to Canada by residing in the participating communities.
With this program, applicants get a one-year work permit while IRCC process the permanent resident application.
